Jeff Tan, CFA, CFM | Corporate Finance & M&A Advisory
Jeff is a seasoned corporate finance and M&A advisor with extensive experience in cross-border transactions, valuations, and financial modeling. As the Malaysia Representative for a global corporate finance advisory firm, he leads deal origination and execution across Southeast Asia, working on complex M&A and strategic advisory projects.
With a Bachelor of Finance (Hons) and an MBA, Jeff is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Financial Modeller (CFM). He has been involved in 100+ transactions across multiple sectors and is recognized internationally for his expertise, securing top placements in global financial modeling competitions.
Jeff also serves as the Honorary Treasurer and Board Director at a leading finance professionals’ society, contributing to industry development and mentoring future finance professionals. As an experienced trainer and speaker, he has conducted workshops and training programs on financial modeling, valuations, and M&A, helping finance professionals enhance their skills with real-world applications.
Queenie Liang, CBA | Risk and Governance Consultant | Certified Bank Auditor
Queenie is a seasoned risk advisory professional specializing in financial risk management, internal audit, and regulatory compliance.
Currently a Manager in Risk and Governance Advisory at a Big 4 firm, she leads client engagements, manages financial services industry (FSI) projects, and provides advisory on regulatory risk and internal controls. Previously, she was part of the Enterprise Risk and Internal Audit team at another Big 4 firm, where she played a key role in audit planning, execution, and reporting for financial institutions.
With a strong background in banking and fintech, Queenie has held internal audit roles at a leading fintech investment platform and a major banking group, conducting audits on investment solutions, compliance, anti-money laundering (AML) frameworks, and risk management processes.
A Certified Bank Auditor (CBA) and CFA Level I passer, Queenie combines deep financial expertise with technical proficiency in Audit Management Systems, ACL, and SQL tools to deliver data-driven insights and assurance services.
